ABSTRACT: Self-assembled mechanically robust Dopa-bearing triblock copolymer networks improve underwater adhesion through both energy dissipation and interfacial bonding. Polymer networks that incorporate energy dissipating motifs could improve the performance of high-performance wet adhesives rather than only by interfacial bonds.
