This study reports the prevalences of <i>qnrVC</i> genes in 74 ciprofloxacin-resistant <i>Vibrio</i> sp. isolates. Two novel functional <i>qnrVC</i> alleles, <i>qnrVC8</i> and <i>qnrVC9</i>, sharing 98% and 99% nucleotide similarity with <i>qnrVC6</i> and <i>qnrVC7</i>, respectively, were identified.
