Transcutaneous antigen administration provides an alternative to invasive syringe injections. The objective of this study was to investigate the feasibility of fabrication and antigen delivery using microneedles made from corn protein, zein. Micromolding technique was used to cast cone-shaped zein microneedles (ZMNs).
