<i>Little cherry virus 1</i> (LChV1, <i>Velarivirus</i>, <i>Closteroviridae</i>) is a widespread pathogen of sweet or sour cherry and other <i>Prunus</i> species, which exhibits high genetic diversity and lacks a putative efficient transmission vector.
