Gain-of-function (GOF) mutations in <i>PIK3CD</i>, encoding the p110δ subunit of phosphatidylinositide 3-kinase (PI3K), cause a primary immunodeficiency. Affected individuals display impaired humoral immune responses following infection or immunization.
