To investigate the anti-<i>Saprolegnia</i> activities of chalconic compounds, nine dialkoxychalcones <b>2</b>⁻<b>10</b>, along with their key building block 2',4'-dihydroxychalcone <b>1</b>, were evaluated for their potential oomycide activities against <i>Saprolegnia australis</i> strains.
