Two metal oxide (i.e., Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> and TiO<sub>2</sub>) nanoparticles and ajoene, a garlic-derived organosulfur compound, were identified to be effective antimicrobials against <i>Campylobacter jejuni</i>, a leading cause of human gastrointestinal diseases worldwide.
