Commercially available saponins are extracted from Quillaja saponaria barks, being Quil A<sup>®</sup> the most widely used. Nanoparticulate immunostimulating complexes (ISCOMs or ISCOMATRIX) formulated with these, are able to stimulate strong humoral and cellular immune responses.
