Fusarium species are plant pathogens that produce various mycotoxins. Here, the regulatory mechanism of deoxynivalenol production in Fusarium asiaticum was analyzed using proteomic, metabolomic and transcriptomic methods. F. asiaticum was induced to produce deoxynivalenol by adding agmatine to the culture medium.
