<i>Coniothyrium minitans</i> is a sclerotial parasite, which has been investigated for commercial control of crop diseases caused by <i>Sclerotinia sclerotiorum</i>. Previously, we obtained a T-DNA insertional mutant, ZS-1TN24363, which did not produce melanin during conidiation.
