A genome-wide association study (GWAS) was applied to detect single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) significantly associated with resistance to <i>Heterodera glycines</i> (HG) also known as the soybean cyst nematode (SCN) in the core collection of common bean, <i>Phaseolus vulgaris</i>.
