Antibiotic discovery is vital when considering the increasing antimicrobial resistance threat. The aim of this work was to provide a high-throughput screen (HTS) assay using multidrug-resistant <i>Escherichia coli</i> strains to enable further research into antimicrobial lead discovery and identify novel antimicrobials.
