<h4>Background</h4>In Canada, the Common Eastern Bumble Bee (<i>Bombus impatiens</i> Cresson) is native to southern Ontario and Quebec, but since being developed as a managed commercial pollinator, it has been exported to several other provinces for use in greenhouse and field crop settings.
