<i>Acinetobacter baumannii</i> is a Gram-negative pathogen that causes a multitude of nosocomial infections. The <i>Acinetobacter</i> trimeric autotransporter adhesin (Ata) belongs to the superfamily of trimeric autotransporter adhesins which are important virulence factors in many Gram-negative species.
