Endo-β(1 → 4)-mannanases (endomannanases) catalyse degradation of β-mannans, an abundant class of plant polysaccharides. This study investigates structural features and substrate binding of YpenMan26A, a non-CBM carrying endomannanase from Yunnania penicillata.
