Biological functions of nuclear proteins are regulated by post-translational modifications (PTMs) that modulate gene expression and cellular physiology. However, the role of <i>O-</i>linked glycosylation (<i>O</i>-GalNAc) as a PTM of nuclear proteins in the human cell has not been previously reported.
