<i>Phaeodactylum tricornutum</i> (<i>P. tricornutum</i>) comprise several lipophilic constituents with proposed anti-obesity and anti-diabetic properties. We investigated the effect of an ethanolic <i>P. tricornutum</i> extract (PTE) on energy metabolism in obesity-prone mice fed a high fat diet (HFD).
