Streptokinase (SK) is a plasminogen activator which converts inactive plasminogen (Pg) to active plasmin (Pm), which cleaves fibrin clots. SK secreted by groups A, C, and G Streptococcus (SKA/SKC/SKG) is composed of three domains: SKα, SKβ and SKγ.
