Dihydrofolate Reductase from <i>Thermotoga maritima</i> (TmDFHFR) is a dimeric thermophilic enzyme that catalyzes the hydride transfer from the cofactor NADPH to dihydrofolate less efficiently than other DHFR enzymes, such as the mesophilic analogue <i>Escherichia coli</i> DHFR (EcDHFR).
