Removing or preventing the formation of [Formula: see text]-synuclein aggregates is a plausible strategy against Parkinson's disease. To this end, we have engineered the [Formula: see text]-wrapin AS69 to bind monomeric [Formula: see text]-synuclein with high affinity.
