Exebacase, a recombinantly produced lysin (cell wall hydrolase), and comparator antibiotics were tested by the broth microdilution method against strain sets of <i>Staphylococcus</i> and <i>Streptococcus</i> spp., which are the most common causes of infective endocarditis in humans.
