<i>Klebsiella pneumoniae</i> is a multidrug-resistant bacterium causing many severe hospital-acquired infections. Here, we describe siphophage Sweeny that infects <i>K. pneumoniae</i> Of its 78 predicted protein-encoding genes, a functional assignment was given to 36 of them.
