Aberrant glycosylation is recognized as a cancer hallmark that is associated with cancer development and progression. In this study, the clinical relevance and significance of terminal fucose (TFG), by fucosyltransferase-1 (FUT1) in carcinogenesis and progression of cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) were demonstrated.
