Oligo painting FISH was established to identify all chromosomes in banana (<i>Musa</i> spp.) and to anchor pseudomolecules of reference genome sequence of <i>Musa acuminata</i> spp. <i>malaccensis</i> "DH Pahang" to individual chromosomes <i>in situ</i>.
