<i>Varestrongylus eleguneniensis</i> (Nematoda; Protostrongylidae) is a recently described species of lungworm that infects caribou (<i>Rangifer tarandus</i>), muskoxen (<i>Ovibos moschatus</i>) and moose (<i>Alces americanus</i>) across northern North America.
