Long-term cannabis users manifest deficits in dopaminergic functions, reflecting Δ<sup>9</sup>-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)-induced neuroadaptive dysfunctional dopamine signaling, similar to those observed upon dopamine D1-D2 heteromer activation.
