ABSTRACT: Comprehensive investigation in motor neuron disease is vital not to miss a treatable differential diagnosis. Neuroborreliosis should be considered during an ALS work-up. However, false-positive CSF results do occur, and thus, results should be interpreted carefully in context of all clinical test results.
