Methicillin-resistant <i>Staphylococcus aureus</i> (MRSA) is a challenging infectious agent worldwide. The ever growing antibiotic resistance has made the researchers to look for new anti-staphylococcal agents. Autolysins are staphylococcal enzymes that lyse bacterial cell wall for cell division.
