Carbapenem-resistant organisms (CRO) are a major global public health threat. <i>Enterobacterales</i> hydrolyze almost all β-lactams through carbapenemase production. Infections caused by CRO are challenging to treat due to the limited number of antimicrobial options. This leads to significant morbidity and mortality.
