Complete Genome Sequences of Micrococcus luteus Strains NCCP 15687 and NCCP 16831, Isolated in South Korea.

ABSTRACT: In this study, the complete genome sequences of Micrococcus luteus strains NCCP 15687 and NCCP 16831 were determined and deposited in the National Culture Collection for Pathogens (NCCP) of South Korea. Genomic DNA was isolated from blood samples from patients infected with M. luteus.

Project description:Two porcine deltacoronavirus (PDCoV) strains, named DH1/2016 and DH2/2016, were isolated from feces of piglets which had severe watery diarrhea symptoms. A comparison of the complete genome sequences suggested that the DH1/2016 and DH2/2016 strains are highly homologous to each other and to PDCoVs isolated in early 2014 from the United States.

Complete genome sequences of classical Swine Fever virus strains isolated from wild boars in South Korea.

Project description:Classical swine fever is a disease that is devastating the pig industry worldwide. Here, we report the complete genome sequences of two classical swine virus strains (YC11WB and PC11WB), isolated from Korean wild boars in 2011. Both strains belong to subgenotype 2.1b. The complete genome sequences of PC11WB and YC11WB are more similar to that of strain ZJ0801 (isolated in China) than to that of the SW03 strain isolated from domestic pigs in South Korea.

Project description:Micrococcus luteus strain SGAir0127 was isolated from indoor air samples collected in Singapore. The assembly, based on single-molecule real-time sequencing reads, resulted in two contigs, one chromosomal contig with a length of 2.57 Mbp and one nonchromosomal contig of 8.68 kbp. The genome has a total of 2,564 genes.

Project description:We report the draft genome sequences of two Micrococcus luteus strains, MFP06 and MFP07, isolated from human skin. The genome assemblies consist of 2,480 and 2,417 kbp with 2,337 and 2,240 coding sequences, respectively. The genomes contain genes potentially involved in osmotic stress tolerance, DNA repair, monoacylglycerol hydrolysis, and beta-lactone synthesis.

Project description:Actinobaceria, Micrococcus luteus SUBG006 was isolated from infected leaves of Mangifera indica L. vr. Nylon in Rajkot, (22.30°N, 70.78°E), Gujarat, India. The genome size is 3.86 Mb with G + C content of 69.80% and contains 112 rRNA sequences (5S, 16S and 23S). The whole genome sequencing has been deposited in DDBJ/EMBL/GenBank under the accession number JOKP00000000.
