ABSTRACT: Lack of tumor T-cell infiltration is a barrier to the efficacy of immune checkpoint inhibitors and other immunotherapies in patients with cancer. Because of their ability to activate and augment tumor-specific T cells, vaccines are an attractive approach to direct T-cell responses into the tumor.
