Glucose-sensitive films were prepared through the layer-by-layer (LbL) deposition of hemin-modified poly(ethyleneimine) (H-PEI) solution and DNA solution (containing glucose oxidase (GOx)). H-PEI/DNA + GOx multilayer films were constructed using electrostatic interactions.
