Effects of pharmacist intervention on polypharmacy in patients with type 2 diabetes in Japan.


ABSTRACT: ObjectiveInvestigation of polypharmacy in patients with type 2 diabetes revealed that medications administered according to the patient’s symptoms and complaints strongly contributed to polypharmacy.
