A new porous organic polymer (CP-CMP) was designed and synthesized via the direct polymerization of pyrrole and hexakis(4-formyl-phenoxy)cyclotriphosphazene, skipping the tedious synthetic procedure of porphyrin-monomers containing special groups. This special porous organic polymer (POP) serves as an "all in one" precursor for C, N, P, and Fe.
