This study provides a novel method of documenting established populations of bird-feeding ticks. Single populations of the blacklegged tick, <i>Ixodes scapularis</i>, and the rabbit tick, <i>Haemaphysalis leporispalustris</i>, were revealed in southwestern Québec, Canada.
