Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are highly conserved and stable closed-loop non-coding RNAs. They are involved in numerous biological functions, including regulating gene transcription or protein translation by interacting with proteins and regulating expression of microRNAs. The aberrant expression of circRNAs has been reported in many cancers, including gastric cancer.
