ABSTRACT: Chemoresistance remains a major hurdle for the effective treatment of NSCLC. We found that DCLK1, a tumor stem cell marker, is overexpressed in NSCLC and is the key to developing chemoresistance and associated stemness. Targeting DCLK1 in NSCLC reduced tumor stemness and reversed cisplatin resistance through an ABCD4-dependent mechanism.
