BISHOP–KOOP modification technique following proximal jejunal anastomosis: A case report.


ABSTRACT: Highlights•Anastomotic leak has been the main reason for postoperative morbidity/mortality.•It is difficult to perform anastomosis in proximal small bowel perforation.•Bishop-Koop anastomosis technique was performed for the proximal jejunum.•Modification of the technique was made to avoid anastomosis breakdown.•14 FR nasogastric tube & 14 FR catheter were used for decompression and nutrition.
