Imaging patterns of early stage lung cancer for the thoracic surgeon.

ABSTRACT: In the modern era, thoracic surgeons are experiencing an increase interest in imaging patterns of early stage lung cancer due to the introduction of the ground glass opacity in clinical practice, and for the necessity to an accurate cancer localization to perform the appropriate type of resection.
