The aim of this study is to assess the role of <i>L</i>-cysteine desulfhydrase (<i>L</i>-DES) and endogenous hydrogen sulfide (H<sub>2</sub>S) in glutathione (GSH)-induced tolerance to salinity stress (SS) in sweet pepper (<i>Capsicum annuum</i> L.).
