Two new species of the genus Indolipa Emeljanov (Hemiptera, Fulgoromorpha, Cixiidae) from Yunnan Province, China, with a key to species.

ABSTRACT: Two new species of Indolipa Emeljanov, 2001 (Fulgoromorpha, Cixiidae) from Yunnan Province, China, I. fugongensis Zhi & Chen, sp. nov. and I. longlingensis Zhi & Chen, sp. nov. are described. Color images for the adults of the two new species and line drawings for the genitalia are provided. In addition, a key to all known species of Indolipa Emeljanov is included.

Project description:Two new species of genus Oecleopsis Emeljanov, 1971, O. laminatus Zhi & Chen, sp. n. and O. productus Zhi & Chen, sp. n., and a new record, O. yoshikawai (Ishihara, 1961), are described and illustrated from China. Female genitalia of five species within this genus are compared morphologically: O. laminatus Zhi & Chen, sp. n., O. mori (Matsumura, 1914), O. productus Zhi & Chen, sp. n., O. sinicus (Jacobi, 1944) and O. yoshikawai (Ishihara, 1961). A key to five Chinese species based on female genitalia, and a key to all known species of Oecleopsis based on male genitalia, are provided.

Project description:The cixiid planthoppers genus Neocarpia Tsaur & Hsu, 2003 is reviewed. Two new species, N. acutata Zhi & Chen, sp. n. and N. reversa Zhi & Chen, sp. n., are described and illustrated from the southwest of China (Yunnan) to give the genus seven species in total. Female genitalia of four Chinese species are described and illustrated for the first time. A key to all known species of Neocarpia based on male genitalia, and a key to Chinese species (except for N. maai) based on female genitalia, are provided. The morphological characteristics of the posterior vagina, utilized to distinguish female species of Neocarpia, are also discussed.
