Molybdenum disulfide (MoS<sub>2</sub>) has attracted considerable attention as a promising electrocatalyst for the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). However, the catalytic HER performance of MoS<sub>2</sub> is significantly limited by the few active sites and low electrical conductivity.
