Genetic construction between polycystic ovarian syndrome and type 2 diabetes.

ABSTRACT: Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) in reproductive-aged women is identified to be one of the endocrine disorders. This heterogeneous disorder is categorized through oligo-anovulation and hyperandrogenemia. National institutes of health and Rotterdam criterions were used to diagnose PCOS women. Type 2 Diabetes (T2D) is one of the complications in PCOS which is connected through insulin resistance (IR), which is a condition in which liver, muscles and fat infrequently respond to the hormones, and this leads to extreme IR and consequently leads to T2D disease.
