Resveratrol is a polyphenol with multiple applications in pharma, cosmetics and food. The aim of this study was to construct <i>Yarrowia lipolytica</i> strains able to produce resveratrol. For this purpose, resveratrol-biosynthesis genes from bacteria and plants were expressed in this host.
