p-Alkoxyphenols (AOPs) are a class of ethers that are widely used in industrial and agricultural productions and daily necessities. p-Phenoxyphenol (PhOP) and p-pentyloxyphenol (PeOP) belong to this class and have been reported to be estrogenic in vitro.
