Most Cystic Fibrosis (CF) patients succumb to airway inflammation and pulmonary infections due to <i>Pseudomonas aeruginosa</i>. <i>D</i>-BMAP18, a membrane-permeabilizing antimicrobial peptide composed of D-amino acids, was evaluated as a possible antibacterial aimed to address this issue.
