Two noncovalent nanohybrids between cationic porphyrin (free-base TMPyP and zinc(II) ZnTMPyP) bearing cationic (<i>N</i>-methylpyridyl) groups and graphene oxide (GO) were constructed with the aim of generating a photocatalyst active for rhodamine B (RhB) degradation.
