<i>Euphorbia lathyris</i> L. is a well-known bioenergy plant cultivated in many parts of the world. In this study, we sequenced the complete chloroplast (cp) genome sequence of <i>E. lathyris</i> to investigate its phylogenetic relationship in the family Euphorbiaceae.
