Lewy bodies (LBs) and glial cytoplasmic inclusions (GCIs) are specific aggregates found in Parkinson's disease (PD) and multiple system atrophy (MSA), respectively. These aggregates mainly consist of α-synuclein (α-syn) and have been reported to propagate in the brain.
