<i>Arabidopsis thaliana</i> exhibits durable 'non-host' resistance against the hemibiotrophic fungal pathogen <i>Colletotrichum tropicale</i> that infects mulberry plants. <i>Arabidopsis</i> non-host resistance comprises two layers of defense: preinvasive and postinvasive resistance.
